Samantha: Anime that was released a while back. Figured we'd get to watching it.

Ah, the hero and the sweeping theme of adventure, or that is what comes to mind. With this anime they play up "I am the hero!" in a cheesy predictable way. Though this is just episode one, I hope the main character is fleshed out some. Not in how he will complete the hero's journey. Instead with what his goals are for building him self up.
Now about this main character. He's really a dependable guy in a not so typical way. He's so driven to become this hero, that it doesn't cross his mind how it will be accomplished.
Though as he progresses thru the series, it becomes clear that with his determination and cunning. He'll overcome his issues and problems that pop up with his teammates and adversaries.
Just waiting for them to make a season two sometime soon.
